Simple Application Server:Release a simple application server

Last Updated:Jan 15, 2024

If your simple application server is expired and you no longer need it, you can manually release the server or wait for the system to release the server. This topic describes how to manually release a simple application server.

Prerequisites

The simple application server is expired and in the Disabled state.

Precautions

  • If you release a simple application server, the snapshots and custom images that are created based on the server are also released. The corresponding data cannot be restored.

  • Before you release a simple application server, make sure that the data on the server is backed up. After the server is released, the data is also released and cannot be restored. You can back up data to an on-premises device or migrate data to an Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instance. For more information, see Build an FTP server or Migrate data from a simple application server to an ECS instance by using a shared image.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Simple Application Server console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Servers.

  3. In the server card, choose More > Release.
