Background information
You are notified if your simple application servers are about to be stopped due to expiration or an overdue payment. To ensure business continuity, renew your simple application servers at the earliest opportunity.
Expiration
The following table uses a simple application server as an example to describe the impacts and solutions of expiration.

15 | You can still access the simple application server. We recommend that you renew the server at the earliest opportunity. | |
16 to 30 | On the 16th day after the simple application server expires, the server is stopped and can no longer be accessed. You can access the simple application server again after you renew the server. | |
30 | On the 31st day after the simple application server expires, the server is released and deleted from the Simple Application Server console. The snapshots and custom images of the released simple application server are also released and cannot be recovered. | None |
Overdue payments
Cause of overdue payments
You are charged for excess data transfers on a pay-as-you-go basis. Excess data transfers are settled on the hour. Make sure that you have a sufficient balance in your Alibaba Cloud account to pay for excess data transfers. Otherwise, the payment becomes overdue, and Alibaba Cloud sends you a notification. We recommend that you complete your payment at the earliest opportunity to prevent impacts on your business due to stopped or released simple application servers.
