When you no longer need an ApsaraDB for SelectDB instance, you can release a pay-as-you-go instance or unsubscribe from a subscription instance to stop billing.
Deleting an instance is irreversible. All data and resources are permanently deleted and cannot be restored. Proceed with caution.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that you have:
An ApsaraDB for SelectDB instance in the Running state
Procedure
Pay-as-you-go instances
Log on to the ApsaraDB for SelectDB console.
In the top navigation bar, select the region where the instance resides.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances. On the Instances page, find the instance, click More in the Actions column, and select Release.
In the Release Instance message, read the information and click OK.
Subscription instances
Log on to the ApsaraDB for SelectDB console.
In the top navigation bar, select the region where the instance resides.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances. On the Instances page, find the instance, click More in the Actions column, and select Unsubscribe.
In the Unsubscribe from Instance message, read the information and click OK.
