Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) lets you configure whitelists for code repositories and peripherals. If you determine that the behavior of a repository or device is safe, you can add it to a whitelist. After an item is whitelisted, SASE no longer controls or blocks content uploads to the repository or data transfers from the device.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
The Data Protection for Office edition of SASE. For pricing details, see Billing overview of Secure Access Service Edge
SASE app version 4.3.1 or later installed on your enterprise terminals
Add a code repository to the whitelist
After you add a repository URL, SASE stops blocking uploads to that repository.
Log on to the Secure Access Service Edge console.
In the left navigation pane, choose Data Protection > Policy Center.
On the Channel Whitelist > Code Repository tab, click Add.
In the Add to Whitelist panel, enter one or more repository URLs and click OK.
To add multiple URLs at once, separate them with commas (,).
Add a USB device to the whitelist
When SASE detects an outbound data transfer, it automatically identifies the peripheral device involved. You can then whitelist that device so SASE no longer blocks transfers from it.
Log on to the Secure Access Service Edge console.
In the left navigation pane, choose Data Protection > Policy Center.
On the Channel Whitelist > USB Whitelist tab, click Add.
In the Add USB Whitelist panel, select the devices to whitelist and click OK.
