When you modify settings on a Smart Access Gateway (SAG) device through its web console, those changes are not automatically pushed to Alibaba Cloud. To keep the device working as expected, you must manually synchronize the local settings to Alibaba Cloud.
This topic describes how to synchronize SAG device settings to Alibaba Cloud for SAG-1000 and SAG-100WM devices.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure that you have:
A functional SAG-1000 or SAG-100WM device connected to Alibaba Cloud. To verify connectivity, check the device indicator lights. For details, see SAG-1000 indicator lights or SAG-100WM indicator lights.
Synchronize device settings
Log on to the SAG console.
In the top navigation bar, select the region.
On the Smart Access Gateway page, find the SAG instance associated with the device.
To search by device serial number, select Device SN, enter the serial number, and click the Search icon.

Click the SAG instance ID, then click the Device Management tab on the instance details page.
In the Actions column, choose
> Device Management.
If the SAG instance is associated with both an active device and a standby device, click the serial number of the device you want to manage.
Click Synchronize Settings to Console.
