SAG-100WM connects small-scale branch networks to Alibaba Cloud over encrypted private connections. This topic covers the hardware specifications, panel layouts, and accessories for both SAG-100WM device types.
Specifications
SAG-100WM comes in two hardware variants—Type 1 and Type 2—which differ in size and exterior design but support the same features. For feature details, see Features and functions of SAG devices.

Device panels
The following tables describe the front panel LED indicators and I/O panel ports.
= supported,
= not supported.
Front panel
Five LED indicator lights provide device status at a glance.
| Indicator | Meaning | Type 1 | Type 2 |
|---|---|---|---|
| LTE | Connection status. On or off: error. Flashing: working normally. | ||
| WAN | Ethernet status. On or off: error. Flashing: working normally. | ||
| Wi-Fi | Wi-Fi status. On or off: error. Flashing: working normally. | ||
| RUN/SYS | System status. On or off: error. Flashing: working normally. | ||
| CLOUD | Alibaba Cloud connectivity. On: connected. Flashing: restoring system or default settings. Off: disconnected. | ||
| PWR | Power status. On: powered on. Off: not powered on. | ||

I/O panel
The I/O panel provides one reset button, one SIM card slot, one USB port, two WAN ports, three LAN ports, and one power inlet.
On Type 2 devices, the SIM card slot is on the side panel, not the I/O panel.
Reset button
Press the Reset button to reset the login password or restore the device to factory defaults.
Reset the login password: With the device powered on, briefly press the Reset button with a pointed object. The device configurations are preserved. Set a new password when you log in to the device web console.
Restore factory defaults: With the device powered on, press and hold the Reset button with a pointed object for 3 to 5 seconds.
Restoring factory defaults clears all custom configurations. Proceed with caution.
SIM card slot
The slot accepts mini-SIM (2FF) cards directly. For micro-SIM (3FF) or nano-SIM (4FF) cards, use a card frame adapter—not a card sleeve adapter. A card sleeve adapter can cause the card to become stuck in the slot.
Mini-SIM, micro-SIM, and nano-SIM cards are the 2FF, 3FF, and 4FF form factors, shown in the following figure.
USB port
The USB port does not support 4G USB for internet access.
WAN ports
WAN ports support internet access, Source Network Address Translation (SNAT), dynamic IP addresses, static IP addresses, and Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE).
LAN ports
LAN ports connect to on-premises clients. Configure routes on the device to connect it to switches.
WAN/LAN reusable port (Type 2 only)
Port 2 on Type 2 devices can function as either a WAN port or a LAN port. The default port type depends on the device firmware version:
Version 1.0.x: the reusable port defaults to LAN.
Version 2.0.x: the reusable port defaults to WAN.
DC power inlet
The power inlet is on the I/O panel and requires 12 V direct current. Use the original power cord.
Device accessories
After purchasing an SAG-100WM device in the SAG console, you receive the device along with the following accessories. The device type (Type 1 or Type 2) is selected randomly.
| Accessory | Type 1 | Type 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Power cord | 1 | 1 |
| Network cable | 1 | 1 |
| LTE antennas | — | 2 |
If any accessory is missing or damaged, contact Alibaba Cloud after-sales service.
