    Smart Access Gateway:Free SAG device upon instance purchase or renewal

    Starting from December 11, 2023, you can receive a free SAG device when you purchase a new Smart Access Gateway (SAG) instance or renew an existing one.

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for this offer, you must meet the following criteria:

    • You must have an Alibaba Cloud account that has completed real-name verification.

    • To participate by renewing an existing SAG instance, it must meet the following requirements:

      • The SAG instance must be in a region in Chinese mainland. SAG instances in other regions are not eligible for this offer.

      • The SAG instance must be associated with an SAG-100WM or SAG-1000 device.

      • If the SAG instance is associated with an SAG-100WM device, it must have a maximum bandwidth of 2 Mbps or higher and have been in use for more than one year.

      • If the SAG instance is associated with an SAG-1000 device, it must have a maximum bandwidth of 10 Mbps or higher and have been in use for more than two years.

      Note

      If your SAG instance meets the usage duration requirement but not the maximum bandwidth requirement, you can upgrade the instance to meet the requirement. For more information, see Upgrade an SAG instance.

    Terms and conditions

    • To qualify by renewal, you must renew an eligible SAG instance for a minimum subscription duration of one year.

    • To qualify with a new purchase, you must purchase an SAG instance for a minimum subscription duration of one year. The instance must be in a region in Chinese mainland and be associated with an SAG-100WM or SAG-1000 device. The following maximum bandwidth requirements also apply:

      • If the SAG instance is associated with an SAG-100WM device, the maximum bandwidth must be 2 Mbps or higher.

      • If the SAG instance is associated with an SAG-1000 device, the maximum bandwidth must be 10 Mbps or higher.

    • Each eligible SAG instance can be used for this offer only once. Limit one free SAG device per SAG instance, even if the instance is renewed multiple times. The model of the free SAG device matches the one associated with your qualifying SAG instance.

    Procedure

    After purchasing or renewing an SAG instance, you can claim your free device by following the link provided. For instructions on how to purchase or renew an instance, see Purchase an SAG device and Renew an SAG instance.

    The following example shows how to participate by renewing an SAG instance.

    1. Log on to the SAG console.

    2. In the top navigation bar, select the Mainland China region.

    3. On the Smart Access Gateway page, find the SAG instance that you want to renew. In the Actions column, choose 更多图标 > Renew.

    4. On the renewal page, configure the Subscription Period, review and agree to the Terms of Service, and click Buy Now to complete the payment.

      The Subscription Period must be at least one year to qualify for this offer.

    5. On the payment confirmation page, click Obtain SAG Devices.

    6. On the Smart Access Gateway Device purchase page, configure the parameters as described in the following table. Then, click Buy Now to complete the zero-cost order.

      After completing the payment, we will review your eligibility. If the purchased or renewed instance does not meet the offer requirements, we will not send you a free device. If we confirm your eligibility, we will ship the free SAG device to you.
