SAG instances that have expired or have overdue payments become unavailable, interrupting connectivity for your branches. Renew your SAG instances before they expire to maintain business continuity.
Before you begin
Before you begin, ensure that you have:

An SAG CPE instance or SAG vCPE instance in the SAG console

A payment method configured in your Alibaba Cloud account
Choose a renewal option
| Option | Use when |
|---|---|
| Renew | You want to keep the current bandwidth specification |
| Renew and change specification | You want to adjust the bandwidth during renewal |
Renewing an SAG CPE (hardware) instance renews its bandwidth only. Renewing an SAG vCPE (virtual customer-premises equipment) instance renews both the instance and its associated bandwidth.
Renew an SAG CPE instance or an SAG vCPE instance

Log on to the SAG console.

In the top navigation bar, select the region.

On the Smart Access Gateway page, find the instance you want to renew, then choose
> Renew in the Actions column. -
Specify Duration, read and select Terms of Service, click Buy Now, and complete the payment.
Change specifications during renewal
Use this option to adjust the bandwidth specification of an SAG CPE or SAG vCPE instance at renewal time. The new bandwidth specification applies for the entire renewal period.

Log on to the SAG console.

In the top navigation bar, select the region.

On the Smart Access Gateway page, find the instance you want to renew, then choose
> Renew and Change Specification in the Actions column. -
Specify Duration and Peak Bandwidth, read and select Terms of Service, click Buy Now, and complete the payment.
