The Automatic Resource Transfer feature is free of charge. After you enable this feature, you can create custom transfer rules and transfer rules for associated resources. The system then transfers resources that meet conditions to the desired resource groups based on the rules. If you do not need to use this feature, you can disable it at any time.
Enable the Automatic Resource Transfer feature
Log on to the Resource Management console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
Click Enable.
After the feature is enabled, the system creates a service-linked role named AliyunServiceRoleForResourceGroup in Resource Access Management (RAM). The Resource Group service assumes this role to transfer resources based on rules. For more information about the service-linked role, see Service-linked role for Resource Group.

In the Enable message, click OK.
After the feature is enabled, you can create the following types of transfer rules:
Custom transfer rule. For more information, see Create and manage custom transfer rules.
Transfer rule for associated resources. This type of transfer rule enables the system to automatically transfer associated resources to resource groups to which primary resources belong. For more information, see Use the Transfer Associated Resources feature.
Disable the Automatic Resource Transfer feature
Log on to the Resource Management console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
Click Disable. In the message that appears, click OK.

After the feature is disabled, existing transfer rules are deleted. However, existing relationships between resources and resource groups are not affected. If you still want to use this feature, you can enable it again 1 minute later.
