If you forget the password of a database account, you can reset it in the ApsaraDB RDS console.
Procedure
We recommend that you change passwords regularly for data security.
Go to the Instances page. In the top navigation bar, select the region in which the RDS instance resides. Then, find the RDS instance and click the ID of the instance.

In the left-side navigation pane, click Accounts.

Find the target account and click Reset Password in the Actions column.

In the dialog box, enter and confirm the new password.
Password requirements:

8 to 32 characters in length.

Contains at least three of the following character types: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits, and special characters.

Supported special characters: ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ + - =
NoteMake sure to store your password securely. If you forget the password, you can reset the password.
For ApsaraDB for RDS for MySQL instances that run MySQL 5.7, 8.0, or 8.4, you can configure a custom password policy to enhance database access security.

(Optional) Turn on Also Reset Account to reset account permissions along with the password.
