Manually renew a subscription ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL instance to extend its service period and avoid data loss from expiration.
Subscription instances that expire are locked and become inaccessible. Renew before the expiration date to prevent service interruptions and data loss. For details on what happens after expiration, see Unlock or rebuild an expired or overdue ApsaraDB RDS instance.
You can manually renew your RDS instance before your RDS instance expires. You can also manually renew your RDS instance within 15 days after it expires.
Pay-as-you-go and serverless instances do not expire and do not require renewal. The system automatically deducts fees — make sure your account balance is sufficient.
