ApsaraDB RDS:Manage RDS Copilot Professional Edition

Last Updated:Sep 03, 2026

This topic describes how to manage the full lifecycle of RDS Copilot Professional Edition, including activation, configuration, renewal, and unsubscription, to use enterprise-grade AIOps capabilities.

Features

RDS Copilot Professional Edition includes all features in the Copilot console. Compared to the Standard Edition, it offers higher task concurrency, faster intelligent health checks, and more efficient slow query optimization. Advanced features include batch instance health checks and integration with DingTalk and Lark. API access enables you to integrate AIOps capabilities into your internal platforms. You can also purchase AI capacity packages to further increase health check speed, task concurrency, and API call limits.

Scope

RDS Copilot Professional Edition is available for RDS instances that run MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MariaDB. The following limits apply:

  • API call limit: With only the base package, the daily quota is up to 1 billion tokens. After you purchase one AI capacity package, the daily quota increases to 2.7 billion tokens. Each additional AI capacity package adds 1.7 billion tokens to the daily quota (up to 5 packages, for a maximum of 9.5 billion tokens per day).

  • Task concurrency limit: The concurrency limit is 5 tasks without an AI capacity package. This limit increases by 10 tasks for each AI capacity package that you purchase.

Billing

When you activate RDS Copilot Professional Edition, a base package is purchased by default. You can also purchase AI capacity packages as needed:

  • Base package fee: USD 869 per month

  • AI capacity package fee: USD 1,448 per package per month (You can purchase a maximum of 5 AI capacity packages)

    • AI Capacity Package: Each AI capacity package provides approximately 10 additional concurrent tasks, reduced intelligent health check time, improved slow query optimization efficiency, and an increase of 1.7 billion tokens to the daily quota (up to 5 packages).

    • Subscription Duration: Select the subscription duration for the Professional Edition, including any AI capacity packages, as needed.

  3. Click Buy Now. After the purchase completes, view your instance on the RDS Copilot > Professional Edition > RDS Copilot Professional Edition page.
