ApsaraDB RDS:Manage RDS Copilot Professional Edition

RDS Copilot Professional Edition is a subscription-based AIOps service for RDS instances. This page covers the full lifecycle: activation, configuration changes, renewal, and unsubscription.

Supported database engines

Features

Professional Edition includes all features available in the Copilot console. Compared to Standard Edition, it adds:

  • Higher task concurrency

  • Faster intelligent health checks

  • More efficient slow query optimization

  • Batch instance health checks

  • DingTalk and Lark integration

  • API access for integrating AIOps capabilities into internal platforms

  • AI capacity packages to increase API call limits, health check speed, and task concurrency

You can purchase up to 5 AI capacity packages.

Activate Professional Edition

  1. Go to the RDS console. In the navigation pane on the left, choose RDS Copilot > Professional Edition. Click Enable Now.

  2. On the RDS Copilot purchase page, configure the following parameters:

    AI Capacity PackageUnlocks unlimited API calls. Each package adds approximately 10 tasks to the concurrency limit and speeds up intelligent health checks and slow query optimization.
    Subscription DurationSelect the subscription duration for Professional Edition, including any AI capacity packages.
  3. Click Buy Now. After the purchase completes, view your instance on the RDS Copilot > Professional Edition > RDS Copilot Professional Edition page.

Change the configuration

Upgrade

Add AI capacity packages to increase task concurrency and API call throughput.

  1. Go to the RDS console. In the navigation pane on the left, choose RDS Copilot > Professional Edition. On the RDS Copilot Professional Edition page, click Upgrade.

  2. On the RDS Copilot (Subscription) | Upgrade/Downgrade page, increase the number of AI Capacity Packages.

  3. Click Buy Now. After the purchase completes, view your instance on the RDS Copilot > Professional Edition > RDS Copilot Professional Edition page.

Downgrade

  1. Go to the RDS console. In the navigation pane on the left, choose RDS Copilot > Professional Edition. On the RDS Copilot Professional Edition page, click Downgrade.

  2. On the RDS Copilot (Subscription) | Downgrade page, decrease the number of AI Capacity Packages.

  3. Click Buy Now. After the purchase completes, view your instance on the RDS Copilot > Professional Edition > RDS Copilot Professional Edition page.

Renew

  1. Go to the RDS console. In the navigation pane on the left, choose RDS Copilot > Professional Edition. On the RDS Copilot Professional Edition tab, select an instance and click Renew.

  2. On the RDS Copilot (Subscription) | Renewal page, configure the following parameters:

    Subscription DurationSelect the subscription duration for Professional Edition, including any AI capacity packages.
    Auto-renewalPrevents service interruption when the subscription expires. The default renewal cycle is one month (actual cycle is subject to the order). Cancel auto-renewal at any time.

Unsubscribe

  1. Go to the RDS console. In the navigation pane on the left, choose RDS Copilot > Professional Edition. On the RDS Copilot Professional Edition tab, select an instance and click Unsubscribe. You are redirected to the Resource Unsubscription list.

  2. On the Resource Unsubscription list page, select the instance resource to unsubscribe from and click Unsubscribe Resource. You are redirected to the unsubscription details page.

  3. In the lower-right corner, click Unsubscribe Now. Select a reason and click OK.
