Resource Access Management:Remove a RAM user from a RAM user group

This topic describes how to remove a Resource Access Management (RAM) user from a RAM user group. You can use one of the following methods to remove a RAM user from a RAM user group:

Warning

After you remove a RAM user from a RAM user group, the RAM user no longer has the permissions of the RAM user group. Before you remove a RAM user from a RAM user group, make sure that the operation meets your business requirements.

Method 1: Remove a RAM user from a RAM user group on the Users page

  1. Log on to the RAM console as a RAM administrator.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Identities > Users.

  3. On the Users page, click the username of the RAM user that you want to manage.

  4. Click the Groups tab, find the RAM user group, and then click Remove from Group in the Actions column.

  5. Click OK.

Method 2: Remove a RAM user from a RAM user group on the Groups page

  1. Log on to the RAM console as a RAM administrator.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Identities > Groups.

  3. On the Groups page, find the RAM user group that you want to manage and click its name.

  4. Click the Group Members tab, find the RAM user, and then click Remove from User Group in the Actions column.

  5. Click OK.
