    Resource Access Management:Delete a RAM role

    Delete a RAM role that you no longer need.

    Procedure

    1. Log in to the RAM console as a RAM administrator.

    2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Identities > Roles.

    3. On the Roles page, find the target RAM role and click Delete Role in the Actions column.

    4. In the Delete Role dialog box, enter the name of the RAM role and click Delete Role.

      Deleting a RAM role automatically detaches all attached policies.

      If the deletion fails, click Role Deletion Tasks in the upper-right corner of the Roles page for details.
