Configure download options, cell merging, totals display, and security settings for ad hoc analysis.
Download
Click Page Settings. By default, Allow Download is selected. To include filter conditions, select Export with Filter Conditions.
Follow the steps shown in the figure to export your data.
Data can be exported in Excel or image format. Excel exports support both formatted and raw data output.
Due to Excel custom formatting limitations, complex data formats may not be fully preserved after export.
If your ad hoc analysis contains filter conditions, the exported Excel file will include them.
Merge Cells
Cells with identical values are merged by default to group related data. To view detailed, unmerged data, disable this option in the page settings.
Click Page Settings. The Merge Cells of Same Type option is selected by default. Clear this checkbox to disable it.
Show Totals
Totals for each dimension are shown by default. You can hide the total for a specific dimension from the feature navigation bar.
To hide all totals at once, go to page settings and clear the Show Total checkbox. This hides totals for all dimensions, not just a specific one.
Security Configuration
Configure preview mode permissions, including Allow Roll Up in Preview Mode, Allow Drill Down in Preview Mode, and Allow Unhiding Rows and Columns in Preview Mode.
These options can bypass data permission controls and expose restricted data to preview-mode users. They are disabled by default. Proceed with caution.
