The feature navigation bar of ad hoc query is similar to Excel Ribbon. The feature navigation bar provides features shown in the red box in the following figure.

Suppress
The suppression function can remove rows or columns that are all 0, null, or empty text in the current ad hoc analysis. Help you eliminate some dirty data distractions.
Enable the suppression feature for all rows and columns
When suppression is enabled for all rows and columns, all rows and columns whose data is 0, null, or empty text in the entire table are cleared. At this time, an icon on the row or column container indicates that suppression is in effect. The suppression icon in the navigation bar turns blue. Click the icon again to cancel suppression.

Enable the suppression feature for all rows
If you enable suppression for all rows, the rows in which all data is 0, null, or empty text in the table are cleared.
Enable the suppression feature for all columns
If you enable suppression for all columns, all columns in the table whose data is 0, null, or empty text are cleared.
Enable the suppression feature for specific rows or columns
After you select specific rows or columns in the table, you can click Custom Rows /Columns in the navigation bar or right-click the selected rows or columns to suppress them.

Custom subtotal
This feature allows you to specify whether to display Total, Subtotal (Excluded), and Subtotal (Included) for existing dimensions in the table.
For example, if the total of the transportation mode dimension is removed, the total of the transportation mode will not be displayed in each group of the table.

If you select Exclude from the shortcut menu, Subtotal (Included) and Subtotal (Excluded) are automatically displayed in the table. The value of Subtotal (Included) is the sum of the remaining dimension values except the dimension values that you excluded. The value of Subtotal (Excluded) is the sum of the dimension values that you excluded.
For example, if you exclude the dimension value of air freight, the table displays subtotals (included) and subtotals (excluded), which are the sum of the remaining "calories and trains" and the value of the excluded air freight, respectively. If you do not need to display this part of the content, you can cancel it in the custom subtotal.

Analysis and calculation
You can use this feature in the same manner in which you right-click dimension fields or measure fields in the table.
Ratio of numerical value and ranking of numerical values
If you right-click a measure and select it, you can perform numeric proportion and ranking operations.

Percentage and basic operations
When you right-click and select two dimensions or measures, you can perform Percentage, Variance Percentage, and Quadruple operations. The calculation formulas are displayed in the selected order.

Total, average, maximum, and minimum
Right-click and select more than or equal to three dimensions or measures to calculate the sum, average, maximum, and minimum values.

Custom Calculation
In addition to the fast calculations provided above, you can also use custom calculations to write expressions.
ImportantThe measure fields that you reference in a custom calculation must be the measure fields that you drag to the table.

Data/Model
If you click Data/Model, the table is displayed in model mode based on the data content of the current table.
If you need to fetch data multiple times, you can use the model mode to combine field names. Then, click Switch to Data Mode to fetch data at a time.
Download
You can click the Page Settings icon. In the Page Settings panel, Allow Download is selected by default. If you want to export the ad hoc query with filter conditions, you can select Export with Filter Conditions.

You can follow the steps shown in the figure to export.
You can export data in the EXCEL and image formats. You can export data in the EXCEL format and export data in the same format.
If the results of the ad hoc query contain filter conditions, the exported Excel file can contain the filter conditions.
Clear
After you click Clear, all data in the table and filters on the current ad-hoc-query creation page is cleared. In this case, the page is restored to an empty page.
