The permission management feature of Quick BI allows permission administrators to grant users the permissions on a specified resource or multiple resources at a time. On the Centralized Authorization page, permission administrators can view all resources in the Quick BI organization and grant permissions by resource or user.
Use scenarios
Multiple departments share a data decision-making system. A permission administrator grants specified permissions to department employees in a centralized manner.
Go to the Grant Permissions by User tab
After a permission administrator logs on to the Quick BI console, the permission administrator can click Settings in the top navigation bar, choose Centralized Authorization > Authorize by Resource or Authorize by User in the left-side navigation pane, and then grant permissions by resource or user on the Centralized Authorization page.
Procedure
Grant Permissions by Resource: manages business intelligence (BI) portals, dashboards, and workbooks in a fine-grained manner, and securely manages permissions from a global perspective.
