Billing methods for Quick BI editions and value-added modules - Quick BI

You can purchase Quick BI for the Alibaba Cloud China Website from the Alibaba Cloud International Website. Select the number of users and the subscription duration you need. The system sends a notification when your subscription is about to expire to remind you to renew it. This topic describes the billing details for this purchase scenario.

Quick BI calculates fees based on the number of users and the subscription duration. A user license is required for any user who creates or views reports in Quick BI. Purchase the number of user licenses you need. To purchase the product, see Purchase, upgrade, renew, or manage overdue payments for Quick BI.

Important

If your instance has an overdue payment, it may be suspended. The system sends you a reminder. Renew your subscription promptly to avoid service disruptions.

Background

Starting from Quick BI V6.0.3, accounts on the Alibaba Cloud International Website and the China Website are interoperable. You can now purchase services for the China Website from the International Website.

Note

The China Website currently supports the Personal, Premium, Professional, and Role-based (New Professional) editions. The Enterprise Standard Version and the Role-based (New Professional) Edition have the same features. The main difference is that with the Role-based (New Professional) Edition, you can purchase licenses for General Users and Viewers separately.

Visualization Screens	For quantities of 20 units or fewer: $107.51 per unit per year. The minimum purchase is 2 units, and units are sold in increments of 2. If the quantity exceeds 20, each additional unit costs $71.68 per year. Note: Pro Edition 1 does not support add-on purchases. The Enterprise Standard Version includes 5 by default at no additional cost.
Extraction acceleration engine scale-out	Advanced Version: Extraction acceleration supports up to 100 million rows per single table. Scale-out costs $143.35/5 GB. 2 GB of capacity is included by default. Note: Advanced Version 1 does not support this add-on. Data Preparation (ETL) - Number of tasks	Enterprise Standard Version: The maximum number of input rows for a single task is 10 million. The cost is $4,300.58/year for 50 tasks. The maximum number of ETL tasks is 100. The Enterprise Standard Version includes 10 tasks by default.
Additional embedded reports	Advanced Version (10/20/50/100/150/200 users): You can purchase an additional 10/20/50/100/150/1,000 reports on top of the default number. The cost is $28.67/year for 10 reports. Enterprise Standard Version (50/100/200/300 users): You can purchase an additional 100/200/500/10,000 reports on top of the default number. The cost is $28.67/year for 10 reports. New Enterprise Standard Version limit for additional embedded reports = (5 × Number of general users) + (0.5 × Number of viewers) Note Advanced Version 1 does not support this add-on. For the Advanced Version, the default number of embedded reports is equal to the number of users. For the Enterprise Standard Version, the default number of embedded reports is double the number of users. For the New Enterprise Standard Version, the default number of embedded reports is (Number of general users × 2) + (Number of viewers × 0.5), rounded up to the nearest integer. The number of agents you can purchase is tied to the number of general users. For example, with Advanced Version for 10 users, you can choose to purchase 0 or 10 Q Dashboard agents. Q Chat Agent	Purchase rule : Available for separate purchase with the Premium, Professional, and New Enterprise Standard Versions. The number of agents purchased must match the total number of users. For example, with Enterprise Standard Version for 50 users, you can choose to purchase 0 or 50 Q Chat agents. With the New Enterprise Standard Version for 50 general users and 10 viewers, you can choose to purchase 0 or 60 Q Chat agents. Pricing rule Premium/Enterprise Standard Version: $28.67 per agent. The New Enterprise Standard Version for role-based users uses tiered pricing for Xiao Q queries. The price is $28.67 per query for the first 500 users, $14.34 per query for users 501 to 1,000, and $7.17 per query for users over 1,000. For example, for a New Enterprise Standard Version with 100 general users and 500 viewers, the fee for the Q Chat Agent is (500 × $28.67) + (100 × $14.34) = $15,769.00. Volatility attribution	Sold as a separate module for $21,502.88/year. Note Attribution SQL concurrency limit: 10 per tenant. Note: A single analysis (for example, a user asking "Why did sales decline?") may trigger multiple SQL queries. The system automatically schedules and runs these queries to ensure stable performance and efficient resource use.
Enhanced ticket-based embedding (with global parameters)	$7,167.63/year. Enterprise Standard Version users with fewer than 100 general users can purchase this feature separately. Note This feature cannot be purchased by default. To make a purchase, contact the Quick BI product operations team. If you later upgrade to 100 or more general users, the fee for this feature will be refunded.

1. Can be added as organization members as needed and can be assigned any of the three user types: Developer, Analyst, or Viewer.

2. For up to 100 general users, the fee is $344.05 per user. For 101 to 300 general users, the fee is $215.13 per user beyond the first 100. For more than 300 general users, the fee is $43.01 per user beyond the first 300.

Viewer

1. Cannot be added as workspace members. Can only view authorized reports.

2. The fee is calculated based on tiers. The first 500 viewers cost $71.68 each. Viewers from 501 to 1,000 cost $28.67 each. Viewers from 1,001 to 5,000 cost $7.17 each. Viewers above 5,000 cost $1.43 each.

Example:

A company purchases the New Enterprise Standard Version for a one-year subscription with 50 general users ($17,202.30), 10 viewers ($716.76), and 20 data dashboards ($2,150.29). The total fee is $20,069.35. The actual purchase price prevails.
