If your application uses a Web Application Firewall (WAF) or IP-based access restrictions, add the load generator IP addresses to your allowlist before you run a stress test. Otherwise, WAF may block the test traffic and cause the test to fail.
Performance Testing Service (PTS) displays the load generator IP address on the test execution page. You must start a stress test scenario before the IP address becomes visible.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure that you have:
A stress test scenario created in the PTS console. For more information, see Create a scenario
Procedure
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Performance Testing > Scenarios.
On the Scenarios page, find your scenario and click Start in the Actions column.
On the Executing Test page, click Load Generator Monitoring. This tab displays the IP address of each load generator.

What to do next
Add the load generator IP addresses to your WAF allowlist so that stress test traffic is not blocked. You can then apply security policies that target only the load generator IP addresses.
For more information, see Configure protection rules for the whitelist module to allow specific requests.
