This topic describes how to manage PrivateLink quotas in Quota Center and the Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) console. You can view quotas and their usage, request quota increases, and create quota templates.
Background information
Quota Center is an Alibaba Cloud service that lets you centrally manage quotas for multiple Alibaba Cloud services, including PrivateLink. If you use multiple Alibaba Cloud services and want to manage all service quotas from a single interface, use the Quota Center. Alternatively, you can manage PrivateLink quotas directly in the VPC console.
Prerequisite
By default, only Alibaba Cloud accounts are authorized to manage quotas in Quota Center. For RAM users to manage quotas, you must grant RAM users the AliyunQuotasFullAccess permission.
View quotas
You can view PrivateLink quotas in one of the following ways:
View all quotas and their default values. For more information, see Quotas.
View quotas in Quota Center. For more information, see Query the details of quotas supported by a cloud service.
View quotas in the VPC console.

Log on to the VPC console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the Quota Management page, click the PrivateLink tab in the Product section. Then, select the desired quota type.
General quota
In the Quota Type section, select General Quota.
Use keyword to search for quotas and view the quota names, descriptions, and usage.
API rate limit
In the Quota Type section, select API Rate Limit.
Select a region and search by keyword for the version and rate limit of the API.
Privilege
In the Quota Type section, select Privilege.
Enter a quota ID to search for privileges and view their names and descriptions.
Increase quotas
If an adjustable default PrivateLink quota does not meet your business needs, you can request a quota increase in one of the following ways.
Request a quota increase in Quota Center. For more information, see Create an application to increase a quota.
Go to the VPC console and request an increase.
The quota items and adjustment results are consistent between Quota Center and the VPC console.
Increase quotas in the VPC console
Log on to the VPC console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the Quota Management page, click the PrivateLink tab in the Product section. Then, select the type of quota that you want to increase.
Increase a general quota
In the Quota Type section, click the General Quota tab. Find the general quota that you want to increase and click Apply in the Actions column.
In the Apply for Quotas dialog box, select the Applied Quotas, enter a Reason, and click OK.
NoteApplications are approved by the technical support team of each cloud service. To improve approval chances, specify an appropriate quota value and provide a reason.
Application results are sent to you by text message and email.
Alibaba Cloud reviews your application based on the information provided in the application and rejects or approves the application.
To view the status of the application, click Application Records or choose in the Actions column.
If the application is in the Approved state, the quota is increased.
Apply for a privilege quota
In the Quota Type section, select Privilege.
Find the desired privilege quota and click Apply in the Actions column.
In the Apply For Privilege Quota dialog box, set Quota Value, Time, Reason, and Notify Of Result. Then, click Confirm.
After you submit the request, you can view the status by clicking Application History in the Actions column or by choosing . If the status is Approved, the privilege quota is granted.
Create a quota template
When a quota template is added and Enabled, the system automatically applies the template to the new members of resource directory. Existing members are not affected. You can use a template to apply for increases on multiple quotas at a time, improving the efficiency of quota management across your organization.
Before you create a quota template, make sure that the following prerequisites are met:
Log on with a management account.
Enable a resource directory. For more information, see Enable a resource directory.
Enable the quota template feature. For more information, see Enable the quota template feature.
You can add a quota to a quota template in one of the following ways:
Log on to Quota Center to add a quota to a quota template. For more information, see Add a quota to a quota template.
Use the VPC console.
Add a quota to a quota template in the VPC console
Log on to the VPC console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the Quota Management page, click the PrivateLink tab in the Product section. Then, select the type of quota that you want to add to a quota template.
Add a general quota
Click General Quota in the Quota Type section, find the one to which you want to add to a quota template and click Create Quota Template in the Actions column.
In the Create Quota Template dialog box, set the Applied Quotas parameter and click Notify Result.
Add a privilege
Click Privilege in the Quota Type section, find the target privilege and click Create Quota Template in the Actions column.
In the Create Privilege Template dialog box, set the Quota Value, Time, and Notify Result parameters.
