A single-zone PolarDB for Xscale (PolarDB-X) instance deploys all resources within one availability zone. If your workload requires higher availability, you can migrate to a three-zone topology without service interruption.
Create a single-zone instance
On the instance creation page, set Topology to Single-zone. For the full creation procedure, see Create a PolarDB-X instance.
View zone information
After creating a single-zone instance, check its zone assignment in either of the following locations:

Instances page — the zone is displayed in the instance list.

Basic Information page — open the instance and view zone details under the basic information section.
