    PolarDB:Change from a single to three availability zones

    Learn how to migrate an instance from a single availability zone to a three-zone deployment.

    Procedure

    1. Log on to the PolarDB Distributed Edition console.

    2. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the instance is deployed.

    3. On the Instances page, click the PolarDB-X 2.0 tab.

    4. Find the instance and click Instance ID to go to the instance details page.

    5. On the Basic Information page, in the Topology Information section, click Migrate Across Zones on the right.

    6. In the Migrate Across Zones dialog box, click Three-Zone Deployment, and then select the target availability zones and the switching mode.

    7. Click OK, and wait for the migration to complete.

    Note

    Migrating across availability zones moves data between data centers. The migration time depends on the data volume.
