You can change the billing method of a PolarDB cluster's compute resources from pay-as-you-go to subscription. This topic outlines the conversion process.
Prerequisites

The cluster is in the Running state.

The cluster must not have any pending subscription conversion orders. If a pending order exists, you must first pay for or cancel the order on the Orders page.

For clusters that use retired specifications, you must first change specifications before converting the billing method.
Usage notes
Changing the billing method for a PolarDB cluster's compute resources from pay-as-you-go to subscription does not affect the billing method for storage.
Impact
This operation has no impact on your cluster.
Procedure

Log in to the PolarDB console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Clusters. Select your target cluster's region and then find the cluster.

In the Operation column, choose .

On the Switch to Subscription page, confirm the cluster information, specify the Subscription Duration, select the terms of service checkbox, and then click Buy Now.
Note-
This operation generates a new order. The billing method change takes effect only after you pay for the order.

If the payment fails or is not completed, the resulting pending order on your Orders page prevents you from purchasing new clusters or converting others to subscription. You must pay for or cancel the pending order to proceed.
