AI Portrait involves the following services: AI portrait training and creation, image quality check, and facial attribute analysis. The image quality check service is provided free of charge. You are charged for other services based on the number of service points. This topic describes the billing rules and methods of AI Portrait.

Billing methods
Resource plans
Resource plans provide a set number of service calls for a full upfront payment. They are suitable for scenarios in which you can predict the number of service calls. A resource plan is valid for one year upon purchase. During the validity period, fees for service calls are offset by the resource plan. If the service calls in a resource plan are not used up by the time the resource plan expires, the remaining service calls become unusable.
If you purchased multiple resource calls for the same service, the resource plan with the earliest expiration date is applied. If multiple resource plans for the same service have the same expiration date, the plan used is applied at random.

Pay-as-you-go
By default, the pay-as-you-go billing method is used after you activate AI Portrait. You are charged based on the consumed service points without an upper limit. Tiered pricing is applied to service calls, which are reset at the beginning of each calendar month. The pricing tiers are separately applied based on the number of calls in each tier. Fees are deducted from your account on an hourly basis.

Service resumption
If you want to continue using resource plans to deduct service fees after the purchased resource plans are exhausted or expire, you can click Purchase Resource Plan on the AI Portrait page to purchase the resource plans.
If you use the pay-as-you-go billing method, you need only to top up your account on a regular basis to ensure that your account has sufficient balance for the services.
