You can upgrade an Object Storage Service (OSS) resource plan based on your business requirements.
Background information
Below are resource plans that can be upgraded directly:
Standard (ZRS) Storage Plan, Standard (LRS) Storage Plan, IA (LRS) Storage Plan, and Cold Archive (LRS) Storage Plan.
Below are resource plans that cannot be upgraded directly. However, you can purchase multiple plans for the equivalent upgrade effect.
Outbound traffic plan, Transfer acceleration plan, and DDoS protection basic plan.
NoteTo achieve the equivalent upgrade effect, you must purchase plans of the same type within the same region.

To allow a RAM user to upgrade resource plans, you must attach the AliyunBSSOrderAccess policy to the RAM user. This way, the RAM user can view, purchase, and cancel orders in the Billing Management console. For more information about how to grant system permissions to a RAM user, see Grant permissions to RAM users.
Procedure
Users who have activated OSS can upgrade resource plans by performing the following steps:
Log on to the OSS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the Resource Plans page, click Upgrade on the right side of the resource plan that you want to upgrade.
On the Upgrade/Downgrade page, select the capacity of the resource plan that you want to upgrade and click Buy Now. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the payment.
