Replication Time Control (RTC) is a feature of Object Storage Service (OSS) that is developed based on cross-region replication (CRR) and ensures that the time required to replicate data meets the service level agreement (SLA). After RTC is enabled for a single data replication task, OSS provides the data replication capability that meets the SLA for that task. If OSS does not meet the SLA, it compensates you based on the SLA terms.
This topic describes the billable items and billing methods for RTC. For pricing details, see the OSS pricing page.
Billable items
OSS charges for the data replication traffic generated by RTC-enabled CRR tasks.
| Billable item | Billing rule | Billing cycle | Billing method |
|---|---|---|---|
| RTC-enabled CRR tasks | Data replication traffic generated by RTC-enabled replication tasks | Hourly. Bills are generated after each billing cycle ends; the exact time is determined by the system. | Pay-as-you-go: Traffic fees = Total RTC traffic (GB) × Unit price per GB |
