Invoke the DeleteObjectTagging operation to delete the tagging information of a specified object - Object Storage Service

You can call this operation to delete the tags of a specified object.

Versioning

By default, when you call DeleteObjectTagging to delete the tags of an object, the tags of the current version of the object are deleted. You can specify the versionId parameter in the request to delete the tags of a specified version of an object. If the current version of the object is a delete marker, OSS returns 404 Not Found.

Permissions

By default, an Alibaba Cloud account has full permissions. RAM users or RAM roles under an Alibaba Cloud account do not have any permissions by default. The Alibaba Cloud account or account administrator must grant operation permissions through RAM Policy or Bucket Policy.

Delete the tags of an object in an unversioned bucket.

In this example, an object named objectname is stored in an unversioned bucket named bucketname. A DeleteObjectTagging request is sent to delete all tags of objectname.

Delete the tags of an object in a versioned bucket.

Error code
