OpenSearch:Query testing

Last Updated:Oct 19, 2026

OpenSearch is an efficient search engine that supports multiple query methods. The following list briefly summarizes the main query types:

  1. Vector query: performs searches by using vector representations and similarity matching. This query type is suitable for processing data such as natural language and images, and can find the results that are most similar to a given query vector. For more information, see Vector query.

  2. Primary key query: directly retrieves data by specifying a unique primary key (ID) and quickly returns the corresponding single record. This query type is suitable for scenarios in which you need to precisely look up specific information. For more information, see Primary key-based query.

  3. Hybrid vector and text query: combines vector queries with text queries to consider both text content and vector similarity, which improves the accuracy and relevance of search results. For more information, see Hybrid vector and text query.
