Activate AI Search Open Platform

1. Log in to AI Search Open Platform and click Open immediately.

   Note

   • Currently, AI Search Open Platform is available only in the China (Shanghai) and Germany (Frankfurt) regions.

   • Users in the China (Hangzhou), China (Shenzhen), China (Beijing), China (Zhangjiakou), and China (Qingdao) regions can use VPC endpoints to call AI Search Open Platform services across regions.

   This takes you to the Service Plaza page. The activation button is in the activation reminder banner at the top of the page.

2. Read the Service Agreement. After you agree to the terms, click Sign and Purchase, and then click Open immediately. The agreement signing dialog box appears.

3. When you see the Activation Successful message, the service is active. You can then go to the console to explore the service. For more information, see service overview and Experience Center. Activation takes approximately 1 to 5 minutes.

Create a workspace

Use workspaces to isolate and manage data. After you activate AI Search Open Platform for the first time, the system automatically creates a Default workspace. You can also create additional workspaces.

1. Log in to AI Search Open Platform.

2. On the Service Plaza page, click Space Management in the upper-right corner.

3. Click Create Space, enter a Namespace, and then click OK to create the workspace.

   AI Search Open Platform lets you grant permissions to RAM users for specific workspaces. This approach helps you apply the principle of least privilege and enhances data security. For more information, see Create a RAM user and grant permissions.
