Microservices Engine:Namespace management

If your application requires higher security, you can create a namespace to isolate the resources and services of the application from other applications.

Create a namespace

  1. Log on to Distributed Task scheduling platform.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Namespaces.

  3. In the top navigation bar, select a region and click Create Namespace.

  4. In the Create Namespace panel, specify Name and Description and click OK.

    After the namespace is created, the system prompts the Created message. You are redirected to the Namespaces page. The namespace that you created appears in the list.

Modify a namespace

  1. Log on to Distributed Task scheduling platform.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Namespaces.

  3. In the top navigation bar, select the region in which your namespace is created and click Modify in the Actions column of the namespace.

  4. In the Modify Namespace panel, modify Name and Description and click OK.

    After the namespace is modified, the system prompts the Modified message. You are redirected to the Namespaces page. The information about the namespace in the list is updated.

Delete a namespace

  1. Log on to Distributed Task scheduling platform.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Namespaces.

  3. In the top navigation bar, select the region in which your namespace is created and click Delete in the Actions column of the namespace.

  4. In the Confirm message, click OK.

    After the namespace is deleted, the system prompts the Deleted message. You are redirected to the Namespaces page. The namespace is removed from the list.
