ApsaraDB for MongoDB:Attach existing tags

After you create tags, you can attach them to instances to categorize them. You can then filter the instances by tag.

Prerequisites

  • Log on to the MongoDB console using your Alibaba Cloud account. Resource Access Management (RAM) users do not have permission to manage or use tags.

  • Ensure that the tags you want to attach have been created. For more information, see Create a tag.

Constraints

  • You can attach tags to a maximum of 50 instances at a time.

  • You can attach up to 20 tags to an instance.

  • You can attach or detach up to 20 tags at a time.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the MongoDB console.

  2. In the navigation pane on the left, click Replica Set Instances or Sharded Cluster Instances, depending on the instance type.

  3. In the upper-left corner of the page, select the resource group and region to which the instance belongs.

  4. Attach tags using one of the following methods:

    • Attach tags to a single instance

      Hover over the image icon in the Tag column of the target instance, and click Edit.

    • Attach tags to multiple instances

      1. Select the instances to which you want to attach tags.

      2. In the lower-left corner of the instance list, click Edit Tag.

  5. In the Edit Tag dialog box, click the Tag Key and Tag Value input boxes to select existing tags.

  6. Click OK.

  7. After the Tag Edited Successfully message appears, click Close.
