ApsaraDB for MongoDB:Bind existing tags

After you create tags, you can bind different tags to instances and filter instances by tag.

Prerequisites

  • You must log on to the ApsaraDB for MongoDB console with your Alibaba Cloud account. RAM users do not have permissions to manage or use tags.
  • You have performed the Create a tag operation.

Limits

  • You can select a maximum of 50 instances to bind tags at a time.
  • You can add up to 20 tags to an instance.
  • You can bind or unbind up to 20 tags at a time.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for MongoDB console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Replica Set Instances or Sharded Cluster Instances based on the instance type.
  3. In the upper-left corner of the page, select the resource group and region to which the instance belongs.
  4. Perform the following operations to bind tags:
    • Bind tags to a single instance

      Click More in the Actions column corresponding to the instance and select Edit Tag.

    • Bind tags to multiple instances at a time
      1. Select the instances to which you want to bind tags.
      2. Click Edit Tag in the lower-left corner of the instance list.
  5. In the Edit Tags dialog box, click Existing Tags and select the tags.

    Note If no tag appears after you click Existing Tags, create a tag. For more information, see Create a tag.
  6. Click OK.
