To manage instances of Vector Retrieval Service for Milvus (for example, to create, view, or delete them), a RAM user must have the necessary permissions. This topic describes how to grant these permissions.
Prerequisites
You have created a RAM user.
Procedure
Log on to the RAM console as a RAM administrator.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the Users page, find the required RAM user, and click Add Permissions in the Actions column.
You can also select multiple RAM users and click Add Permissions in the lower part of the page to grant permissions to the RAM users at a time.
In the Grant Permissions panel, grant the
AliyunMilvusFullAccesspolicy to the RAM user.Parameter

Resource Scope
Select the scope of the permissions:
Account: The permissions apply to the current Alibaba Cloud account.
ResourceGroup: The permissions apply to the specified resource group.
Principal
The user that receives the permissions. By default, this field is populated with the user you selected.
