ApsaraVideo Live provides Widevine and FairPlay DRM encryption, billed based on the number of daily playback requests from end users for Widevine or FairPlay content.

DRM encryption is based on transcoding. After you enable DRM encryption, transcoding fees are billed as part of the live stream transcoding service. No additional fees are charged for DRM encryption. For more information, see Live stream transcoding fees.
DRM encryption is available only in the Shanghai and Singapore live centers. Billing is based on the number of license requests for DRM-encrypted videos from end users.

Billing examples
Scenario: You use an Alibaba Cloud International website account and have enabled the ApsaraVideo Live DRM service in the Singapore live center. Between 16:00 and 17:00 on June 18, end users make 100 requests to play Widevine content and 200 requests to play FairPlay content.
Calculation: As described in the Pricing section, the unit price for DRM encryption in the Singapore live center for an Alibaba Cloud International website account is USD 0.0015 per request.
The DRM encryption fee from 16:00 to 17:00 on June 18 is 300 × USD 0.0015 = USD 0.45. A bill is generated after 00:00 on June 19, and the fee is automatically deducted from your account.
