This document applies only to the Qoder CN suite. It does not apply to Qoder CN (formerly Lingma).
This document describes the Qoder CN account system, the purchase and usage workflow for personal subscriptions (Pro and Pro+), and member role management for enterprise subscriptions (Teams and Enterprise Dedicated Edition (VPC)), helping you understand the end-to-end process from ordering to product usage.
This document is for Qoder CN suite customers who log in with a Qoder CN account.
This document does not apply to subscribers of Qoder CN (formerly Lingma).
Account system
Individual users
Individual users can purchase subscriptions and view their Credits usage directly on qoder.com.cn.
Individual users sign in with an Alibaba Cloud account linked to their mobile phone number. If your phone number is not yet registered with Alibaba Cloud, an account is automatically created during the purchase. You can then log in to aliyun.com to view your orders.
Teams users
Enterprise purchasers go to the Alibaba Cloud console to complete the initial subscription and organization creation, while daily organization management (including members, seats, and Credits usage) is centralized in the enterprise settings module on qoder.com.cn.
Only the individual who makes the purchase needs an Alibaba Cloud account. Other members can be imported by an Admin through Single Sign-On (SSO).
Enterprise Dedicated Edition users
The enterprise purchaser subscribes and creates the organization in the Alibaba Cloud console. Day-to-day tasks, such as managing members, seats, and Credits, are handled in the admin console of the dedicated enterprise instance.
Only the individual who makes the purchase needs an Alibaba Cloud account. Other members can be imported by an Admin through SSO.
Account usage rules
Personal plans (Basic, Pro, or Pro+): You must log in and use the service with an Alibaba Cloud root account. Sub-accounts have no Credits and cannot use paid features, such as those available with Pro and Pro+ plans.
Teams / Enterprise Dedicated Edition (VPC)): The subscription must be purchased by using an Alibaba Cloud root account. This account can manage subscriptions and assign seats, but it cannot use a seat and is not billed as one.
Order requirements
Use the Alibaba Cloud account that owns the instance or a RAM user to manage orders.
Placing orders with an Alibaba Cloud account is recommended. If you use a RAM user, grant the following permissions:
Alibaba Cloud DevOps product management permission: AliyunRDCFullAccess
Order payment permission: AliyunBSSOrderAccess
To grant permissions, see Manage permissions for a RAM user.
Personal subscriptions (Pro and Pro+)
Personal subscription tiers
Personal subscriptions are available in two paid tiers. These tiers differ in their Credits quotas and target use cases but share the same account system, purchase path, and upgrade process:
Tier | Billing cycle | Price | Credits |
Basic (formerly Community Edition) | - | Free | A 2-week Pro trial and 300 Credits |
Pro | Monthly | ¥59 / month | Monthly limit of 2,000 Credits |
Pro+ | Monthly | ¥169 / month | Monthly limit of 6,000 Credits |
Note: Both Pro and Pro+ subscriptions are purchased on qoder.com.cn by using the same Qoder CN account. Credits are metered uniformly across all products in the Qoder CN suite, such as QoderWork CN, Qoder CN CLI, and Qoder CN IDE. If you have an active Pro subscription, you can upgrade to Pro+ at any time. Upon successful upgrade, your previous subscription is immediately deactivated. Any remaining Credits are added to your account as a one-time credit pack. This action is irreversible.

Individual users can complete the entire process of purchase, payment, and usage tracking on qoder.com.cn without accessing the Alibaba Cloud console. qoder.com.cn encapsulates the interaction with the Alibaba Cloud purchase API, providing a self-contained experience within a single site.

Members and roles
An enterprise organization includes three member roles: Subscription Owner, Admin, and Member.
Role | Billable | Seat assignment | Purchase/Renewal | Org management | Count |
Subscription Owner | No | Yes | Yes | Yes | 1 |
Admin | Yes | Yes | No (by default) | Yes | Multiple |
Member | Yes | No | No | No | Multiple |
Design principle: separation of procurement and usage. Procurement is completed on Alibaba Cloud. Team management is centralized on qoder.com.cn, and product usage occurs in clients such as Qoder CN Desktop, the Qoder CN plugin for JetBrains, QoderWork, and Qoder CLI.
Role permissions
Subscription Owner
The owner of the enterprise subscription. This role is responsible for the initial purchase, creating the organization, and managing subsequent seat additions and renewals.
Can: Log in to the Alibaba Cloud console, manage subscriptions, purchase resource packs, add seats, and renew.
