The alert threshold of storage usage is the percentage of used storage that triggers a capacity alert. When usage reaches this threshold, the system notifies alert recipients. This topic explains how to modify this threshold on the Lindorm console.
Prerequisites
This feature is available if the Commodity Type is Lindorm V1 or Lindorm. This means the Service Type of the instance is also Lindorm V1 or Lindorm. To view the service type, see View product series.
Usage notes
For instances that use Standard, Performance, or Capacity storage, data writes fail if storage usage exceeds 95%. Set a reasonable alert threshold of storage usage and monitor alert messages to prevent service interruptions.
Modify the alert threshold
Log on to the Lindorm console. In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region of the instance. On the Instances page, click the ID of the target instance or click View Instance Details in the Actions column for the instance.
On the Instance Details page, find the Alert Threshold section on the right and click Modify.
In the Change Alert Threshold for Storage Capacity dialog box, drag the slider to adjust the alert threshold of storage usage. Click OK.
Configure alert recipients
When storage usage reaches the threshold, the system sends an alert to the configured alert recipients.
To receive alerts, log on to and configure the following:
Under Exception Notifications, select ApsaraDB Fault or Maintenance Notifications and Emergency Risk Warnings.
Add your database administrators as alert recipients.
Disable storage usage alerting
You cannot disable storage usage alerts.
