The capacity alert threshold determines when Lindorm notifies you about storage usage. When disk usage reaches this percentage, Lindorm sends a notification to configured recipients showing the current usage level. Set the threshold well below the write-stop limit to give yourself time to act before writes fail.
For standard, compute-optimized, and storage-optimized cloud storage, the cluster stops accepting writes when storage usage exceeds 95%. Set the alert threshold well below this limit to receive warnings in time.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that you have:
A Lindorm instance with a Commodity Type of Lindorm or Lindorm new version for sale (that is, a Service Type of
LindormorLindorm_V2). To check the service type, see View product series
Modify the alert threshold
Log on to the Lindorm console. In the upper-left corner, select the region of the instance. On the Instances page, click the instance ID or click View Instance Details in the Actions column.
On the Instance Details page, locate the Alert Threshold section on the right and click Modify.
In the Change Alert Threshold for Storage Capacity dialog box, drag the slider to set the threshold, then click OK.
Set alert recipients
When storage usage reaches the threshold, Lindorm sends alert notifications to the recipients you specify. To configure recipients:
Log on to the Message Center.
Under Exception Notifications, select ApsaraDB Fault or Maintenance Notifications and Emergency Risk Warnings.
Add database operations and maintenance (O&M) personnel as message recipients.

Disable alert messages
Capacity alerts cannot be disabled.
