Lindorm:Log on to the cluster management system

Last Updated:Jun 20, 2026

You can use the cluster management system to view the storage usage of a cluster and manage its data. This topic describes how to log on to the cluster management system from the Lindorm Management Console.

Prerequisites

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Lindorm Management Console.

  2. On the Instances page, click the ID of the target instance.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Database Connections.

  4. On the Wide Table Engine page, in the Lindorm Insight section, click ByByInternetVisit or ByByVPCVisit to log on to the cluster management system.

  5. On the Login page, enter the username and password.

    Important

If this is your first time logging on to the cluster management system, go to the Wide Table Engine page. In the Lindorm Insight section, click Reset UI Access Password to set a password for the cluster management system. The password must meet the following requirements:

    • The password must be 2 to 30 characters long.

    • The password must contain characters from one or more of the following types: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits, and special characters.

    • The supported special characters are underscores (_) and hyphens (-).

  6. Click Login. You are redirected to the Lindorm Insight page. After you log on, the Overview page of Lindorm Insight opens. The core metrics section at the top of the page displays the total number of namespaces, total number of tables, and total table size. The middle of the page contains filters for IDC, group, namespace, and table name. Below the filters, a table lists all tables with information such as logical size, estimated row count, hot storage, cold storage, online status, index status, and read/write requests. You can click + Create SQL Table or + Create HBase Table to create a new table. You can also manage existing tables in the Actions column by using Move Group and More.

FAQ

Why do I get a "Your current password is weak" error?

This error occurs because you are using a weak password, such as a simple sequence of digits or adjacent keys on the keyboard. This type of password is easy to crack and poses a high security risk. Use a stronger password and try again.
