Enable deletion protection to prevent a Lindorm instance from being accidentally released. Once enabled, the instance cannot be released until you disable the protection.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that you have:
A pay-as-you-go Lindorm instance. Deletion protection applies only to pay-as-you-go instances
Enable or disable deletion protection
Log on to the Lindorm console.
In the upper-left corner, select the region where the instance is deployed.
On the Instances page, click the instance ID or click View Instance Details in the Actions column.
In the Basic Information section, turn the Deletion Protection switch on or off.
In the Enable Deletion Protection or Disable Deletion Protection dialog box, click OK.
After deletion protection is enabled, the instance cannot be released. To release the instance, disable deletion protection first, then follow the steps in Release an instance.
