Before you use the MySQL protocol to access LindormTable, you must enable the MySQL compatibility feature in the Lindorm console. After you enable this feature, you can obtain the MySQL endpoint in the console for subsequent operations.
Prerequisites
The version of LindormTable is 2.6.5.2 or later. For information about how to view or update the minor version of LindormTable, see Release notes for LindormTable and Upgrade the minor engine version of a Lindorm instance.
Usage notes
The MySQL compatibility feature is automatically enabled if your LindormTable is activated after August 2024. You do not need to enable this feature in the Lindorm console.
Procedure
Log on to the Lindorm console.
In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region where the instance is deployed.
On the Instances page, click the ID of the target instance or click View Instance Details in the Actions column for the instance.
In the navigation pane on the left, click Database Connections.
On the Wide Table Engine tab, choose .
ImportantIf you enable the MySQL compatibility feature, Lindorm SQL is switched to a new architecture. This change may result in SQL syntax differences and cannot ensure full compatibility. For your instances that were purchased before September 2023, the MySQL Compatibility Address button is not displayed in the console even if the LindormTable version is upgraded to 2.6.5.2 or later.
If your existing instance meets the conditions described above, contact Lindorm technical support (DingTalk ID: s0s3eg3) for guidance.
In the dialog box, click OK.
ImportantWhile the feature is being enabled, the instance status changes to Changing Specifications. During this time, you cannot perform other management operations, such as activating services, upgrading specifications, or downgrading specifications. The process takes 2 to 10 minutes. After the instance status changes to Running, you can use the instance as usual.
