Lindorm:Enable change tracking

Change tracking delivers real-time incremental data from Lindorm, letting you monitor data changes.

To enable change tracking, purchase the required nodes in the Lindorm console. The exact steps depend on your instance version:

If you have already purchased one of these node types, skip the corresponding step.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have:

  • LindormTable enabled on your instance

Enable change tracking on Lindorm New Version

Purchase message engine nodes

If the message engine is already enabled on your instance, skip this step.
  1. Log on to the Lindorm console.

  2. In the upper-left corner, select the region where your instance is deployed.

  3. On the Instances page, click the instance ID, or click View Instance Details in the Actions column.

  4. In the navigation pane, click LindormMessage.

    Important

    If LindormMessage does not appear in the navigation pane, contact Lindorm technical support on DingTalk (ID: s0s3eg3).

  5. On the LindormMessage page, click Activate Now.

  6. On the Change Specification page, configure the following parameters.

    ParameterDescription
    Message Engine Node TypeThe node type for the message engine. Options include General-purpose, Memory-optimized, and Compute-optimized.
    Message Engine Node SpecificationsThe specifications for each message engine node.
    Message Engine Node NumberThe number of message engine nodes.
    Storage CapacityThe total storage capacity for the message engine.
  7. Click Buy Now.

Purchase LTS nodes

If LTS is already purchased for your instance, skip this step.
  1. Log on to the Lindorm console.

  2. In the upper-left corner, select the region where your instance is deployed.

  3. On the Instances page, click the instance ID, or click View Instance Details in the Actions column.

  4. In the navigation pane, click Wide Table Engine, then click the Change Tracking tab.

    Important

    If the Change Tracking tab does not appear, contact Lindorm technical support on DingTalk (ID: s0s3eg3).

  5. On the Change Tracking page, click Activate Now.

  6. On the Change Specification page, configure the following parameters.

    LTS Data Synchronization Core SpecificationsThe core specifications for LTS data synchronization.
    LTS Node QuantityThe number of LTS nodes.
  7. Click Buy Now.

Enable change tracking on Lindorm

Purchase stream data nodes

If the stream engine is already enabled on your instance, skip this step.
  1. Log on to the Lindorm console.

  2. In the upper-left corner, select the region where your instance is deployed.

  3. On the Instances page, click the instance ID, or click View Instance Details in the Actions column.

  4. In the navigation pane, click Wide Table Engine, then click the Change Tracking tab.

    Important

    If the Change Tracking tab does not appear, contact Lindorm technical support on DingTalk (ID: s0s3eg3).

  5. On the Change Tracking page, click Activate Now.

  6. On the Change Specification page, configure the following parameters. For guidance on selecting node specifications and the number of nodes, see Select node specifications and quantity.

    Stream Data Node NumberThe number of stream engine nodes.
    Storage SpaceThe total storage capacity for the stream engine.
  7. Click Buy Now.

Purchase LTS nodes

If LTS is already purchased for your instance, skip this step.
  1. Log on to the Lindorm console.

  2. In the upper-left corner, select the region where your instance is deployed.

  3. On the Instances page, click the instance ID, or click View Instance Details in the Actions column.

  4. In the navigation pane, click Wide Table Engine, then click the Change Tracking tab.

    Important

    If the Change Tracking tab does not appear, contact Lindorm technical support on DingTalk (ID: s0s3eg3).

  5. On the Change Tracking page, click Activate Now.

  6. On the Change Specification page, configure the following parameters.

  7. Click Buy Now.
