Use this guide to enable the Lindorm search engine on a new or existing instance, and to retrieve the connection details you need to start using it.
Enable the search engine when purchasing an instance

Log on to the Lindorm console.

In the upper-left corner, click Create.

On the purchase page, configure Search Node Specifications (Solr API/Elasticsearch API) and Number Of Search Nodes. For details on other configuration items, see Create an instance.

Click Buy Now and complete the payment.
After purchase, the instance status changes from Creating to Running in the Lindorm console. The instance is ready to use when the status shows Running.
Enable the search engine on an existing instance

Log on to the Lindorm console.

In the upper-left corner, select the region where your instance is deployed.

On the Instances page, click the instance ID or click View Instance Details in the Actions column.

In the Configurations section, click Activate Now to the right of Search Engine.

On the upgrade/downgrade page, configure the following:

Search Node Specifications (Solr API/Elasticsearch API)

Number Of Search Nodes
-
Storage Space
-

Select the Terms of Service checkbox, click Buy Now, and complete the payment.
After activation, the instance status changes from RESIZING to Running in the Lindorm console. The instance is ready to use when the status shows Running.
View connection information
The Lindorm console provides the endpoint, default username, and password for your search engine instance.

Log on to the Lindorm console.

In the upper-left corner, select the region where your instance is deployed.

On the Instances page, click the instance ID or click View Instance Details in the Actions column.

In the left navigation pane, click Database Connections.

Click the Search Engine tab, then note the endpoint, default username, and password.
To connect over the public network, click Enable Public Endpoint in the upper-right corner.
