How is KVCacheStore billed, and when does billing stop?
KVCacheStore uses the pay-as-you-go billing method by default. You are charged based on the configured capacity and usage duration, and bills are settled on an hourly basis.
Billing starts immediately after a KVCacheStore is created and stops after the KVCacheStore is deleted.
Why is a bill not generated immediately after the current billing cycle ends?
Bills are typically generated 3 to 4 hours after the current billing cycle ends. The actual bill generation time is subject to the system.
The billing system may experience delays. For example, if you query bills at 09:30, only the charges for the period from 05:00 to 06:00 may be available.
What happens to the service and data if my Alibaba Cloud account has an overdue payment?
If you pay the overdue amount within 15 days after the payment becomes overdue, the KVCacheStore service is not suspended. If the payment is overdue for more than 15 days, Alibaba Cloud stops the KVCacheStore service and only retains the data in KVCacheStore. No new charges are incurred after the service is stopped.
If you pay the overdue amount within 15 days after the service is stopped, the KVCacheStore service is automatically resumed. If you do not pay the overdue amount within 15 days after the service is stopped, you are deemed to have voluntarily given up the KVCacheStore service. Alibaba Cloud terminates the KVCacheStore service and releases the data. Released data cannot be recovered.
For more information, see Overdue payments.
AttachKVCacheStore returns Attaching. Does this mean the attachment failed?
No. Mounting is an asynchronous operation. A return value of Attaching indicates that the request has been accepted. Call ListKVCacheStoreAttachInfo to query the mounting record. When the record status changes to Attached, the mounting is complete.
Why am I unable to delete a KVCacheStore?
You cannot delete a KVCacheStore that is in the Creating state or still has mounting records in the Attaching or Attached state.
First, stop the business processes that call the SDK, unmount the KVCacheStore, and make sure that the corresponding mounting records no longer exist. Then, delete the KVCacheStore. The delete operation is irreversible. The data in the KVCacheStore is cleared and cannot be recovered.
Why does performance monitoring show an IOPS value of 0 or display No data?
The data type of read and write IOPS is integer. If the number of relevant requests within one minute is less than 60, the monitoring value is displayed as 0. "No data available" indicates that the target KVCacheStore did not receive any client requests during the selected time range.
