Upgrade description
Flexible key rotation policies are supported. For more information, see Configure key rotation.
Backup and restoration of keys and secrets in KMS instances are supported. For more information, see Backups.
Dual-zone deployment is supported. For more information, see Enable a KMS instance.
Upgrade impact
The upgrade requires approximately 20 minutes to complete. During the upgrade, your services may be interrupted. After the upgrade is complete, your services are restored to normal.
Upgrade mode
KMS instances are automatically upgraded within the upgrade duration.
