Metric monitoring
Metric monitoring ensures the availability and health of your IPv6 Gateway resources. You can use these monitoring features to continuously collect data. Alibaba Cloud provides a suite of monitoring and auditing services, such as CloudMonitor and Cloud Config, to help you track resource usage and service health in real time, and respond promptly to alerts.
Health status monitoring
Monitor the health status of your cloud resources in real time to respond immediately to any issues. For more information about service health, see the Alibaba Cloud Service Health page.
On the Alibaba Cloud Service Health page, you can view the real-time status of cloud services in each region and subscribe to RSS feeds for service status updates.
CloudMonitor Basic
IPv6 Gateway is integrated with CloudMonitor Basic, which provides free, real-time monitoring for your cloud resources and internet applications.
Enable one-click alerting for key metrics
CloudMonitor Basic lets you enable alerts for multiple key metrics of your IPv6 Gateway with a single click. This helps you efficiently set up a comprehensive alerting system to gain full visibility into resource usage and service health. For details, see Enable the proactive alerting feature.
Customize alert rules for metrics
You can customize the following alert settings in CloudMonitor Basic:
-
Create custom dashboards to quickly collect and visualize metric data. For more information, see Manage the monitoring charts of a custom dashboard.
-
Set an alert rule for a specific metric and receive notifications through phone calls, SMS messages, emails, DingTalk chatbots, or the Alibaba Cloud app.
-
Add a metric to an alert blacklist to suppress its alert notifications. For more information, see Manage blacklist policies.
Cloud Config
IPv6 Gateway is integrated with CloudConfig. You can use Cloud Config for free to centrally track resource configuration history and audit compliance. This helps you continuously monitor the compliance of your cloud resources and infrastructure.
Track configuration changes
Cloud Config can detect operations performed by your Alibaba Cloud account and all RAM users. By default, it records resource configuration changes every 10 minutes.
Enable the MLPS 2.0 pre-check
Cloud Config provides built-in rules based on the Multi-Level Protection Scheme (MLPS) 2.0 regulations to check the configurations of your cloud resources. You can enable this feature with a single click to continuously monitor resource compliance and download pre-check reports to submit to regulatory agencies.
ActionTrail
IPv6 Gateway is integrated with ActionTrail, which provides a centralized service for managing operational logs. ActionTrail records user logon events and resource access operations within your Alibaba Cloud account, enabling security analysis, intrusion detection, resource change tracking, and compliance auditing.
ActionTrail records API calls and other activities performed through the Alibaba Cloud console, APIs, and SDKs. For a list of supported events, see Audit events of VPC.
By default, ActionTrail retains events for the last 90 days. To store logs for a longer period, you must create a trail to deliver events to an Object Storage Service (OSS) bucket. For more information, see Create a trail.
After you deliver events to an OSS bucket, you can query and analyze them in the OSS console. For more information, see Query events in the Simple Log Service or OSS console.
If you need to trace historical events, submit a ticket to request the required permissions.
