Identity as a Service:User portal

Last Updated:Dec 02, 2025

This document describes the main features of the IDaaS application portal and explains how to access the portal, access applications, and log out.

Feature overview

The user portal provides the following features:

  1. Application access: Quickly access authorized applications.

  2. Account information management: View or edit your personal profile and modify security information.

  3. Security Center: Manage or configure multi-factor authentication (MFA).

  4. Self-service: Reset your password.

Access the portal

Log on to the IDaaS console. In the navigation pane on the left, choose EIAM. Select the IDaaS instance that you want to manage.

  1. Click the link in the User Portal column to access the portal.image

  2. In the Actions column, click Manage. On the right side of the Quick Start page, find the IDaaS Sign-In URL.image

  3. Click the portal link. You are redirected to the logon page. Enter your username and password to log on to the application portal.

My applications

  1. Access applications

    1. The Applications menu displays the applications that you are authorized to access. If the list is empty, contact an administrator to create an application and grant application authorization.image

    2. If you have many applications, you can use the fuzzy search feature to quickly find an application by its name.

    3. Click an application icon to access the application using single sign-on (SSO).

    4. Depending on the number of available application accounts for an application, one of the following three scenarios may occur:

      Scenario

      Description

      Only one application account exists

You can use SSO to access the application without any extra steps.

      No application accounts exist

If IDaaS cannot identify the identity to use for SSO, the interface prompts that no application account is available and SSO cannot proceed.

In this case, contact an administrator for assistance. You cannot request to add an application account.

      Multiple application accounts exist

The same IDaaS account may have multiple identities to access the same application. You can add multiple application accounts to enable this.

When you use SSO from the user portal, which is Identity Provider (IdP)-initiated SSO, you are redirected to an account selection page if multiple application accounts are available. Select an account to access the application.

      Note

If an SSO flow is initiated by an application, you are redirected back to that application after you log on, not to the user portal. You are redirected to the user portal only if you log on directly from the logon page. From the portal, you can then choose which application to access using SSO.

  2. Log out

There are four ways to end your IDaaS logon session:

    Logout method

    Description

    Logon session expires

This is configurable. For more information, see Logon methods.

Session times out due to inactivity

This is configurable. For more information, see Logon methods.

    Manual logout

In the IDaaS user portal, click Logout in the upper-right corner to end the IDaaS logon session.

    Close the browser

When you completely close the browser, the logon session automatically ends.

After you log out, you must log on again to access any application.
