Manage the full lifecycle of your IDaaS (Identity as a Service) EIAM instances — from creation and trial to upgrade, renewal, configuration scaling, and release.
Create an instance
In the Application Identity Management console, click EIAM. You are redirected to the Cloud Identity Service console.Application Identity ManagementApplication Identity ManagementApplication Identity ManagementApplication Identity ManagementApplication Identity Management
Click Create Instance. Enter an instance name, agree to the Terms of Service, and click Create Instance to create a free instance. Free instances provide basic identity management capabilities. For pricing details, see Product Billing.
Click Console next to the instance ID to access the instance.
Start a trial
After accessing an EIAM instance, start a free trial to experience most paid features.
On the Quick Start page, click Trial in the bottom-right corner.
Each instance supports only one trial. If you upgrade during the trial period, the trial ends early. When the trial expires, the instance automatically downgrades to the Free Edition — paid features become unavailable, but data within the instance is retained.
Upgrade an instance
Purchase paid features to unlock the full capabilities of Cloud Identity Service.
In the Application Identity Management console, click EIAM. Then click Upgrade to go to the upgrade page. You can also upgrade from the Quick Start page of an instance.

Renew an instance
Extend the validity period of your current paid features.
In the Application Identity Management console, click EIAM. In the list of paid instances, click Renew to go to the renewal page. You can also renew from the Quick Start page of an instance.

Upgrade instance configuration
Increase the quota for paid features in Cloud Identity Service.
In the Application Identity Management console, click EIAM. In the list of paid instances, click Lift to go to the configuration upgrade page. You can also upgrade the configuration from the Quick Start page of an instance.

Release an instance
Releasing an instance permanently deletes all data within it. This action cannot be undone.
Only Free Edition instances can be released directly. To release a paid instance, first downgrade it to the Free Edition.
In the Application Identity Management console, click EIAM.
In the list of free instances, click Release.
Complete secondary authentication using the Alibaba Cloud account that owns the instance and an SMS verification code. After successful authentication, the instance is released and all data within it is permanently deleted.
