Manage users and databases
After purchasing a Hologres instance, use the Hologres console to add users, grant permissions, and manage databases.
User management
Click Account Management on the instance details page to log in and open the corresponding page in HoloWeb automatically.
On the Users page in HoloWeb, add or delete users and grant permissions to them. For more information, see User management.
DB management
Click Database Management on the instance details page to log in and open the corresponding page in HoloWeb automatically.
On the DB Authorization page in HoloWeb, create and delete databases and configure their access policies. For more information, see DB management.
When you purchase an instance, the system creates a postgres database by default. This database has limited resources and is intended for instance management only — it does not appear on the DB Management page and is not suitable for business workloads. Create a new database to handle business workloads.
