Hologres AI resources are GPU instances priced according to their specifications. This topic describes how to purchase AI resources and details about pricing.

Limitations
Only Hologres V3.2 and later versions can be associated with an AI resource. Each instance can be associated with only one AI resource.
You can only purchase a single type of AI node specifications. To change the specifications, first unsubscribe from your current AI resource and then purchase a new one.
Backing up and restoring an instance does not include its AI resources. You must purchase new AI resources for an instance restored as new.
For primary/secondary instances: All AI resource operations (purchase, upgrade/downgrade, unsubscribe, release, model deployment) must be performed on the primary instance. Secondary instances can only view the primary instance's AI resources and deployed models, and run AI functions using those resources.
Purchase an AI resource
Go to the Hologres Instances page and click Create Instance. On the instance purchase page, configure the following parameters. For more information, see Purchase a Hologres instance.
Parameter | Description |
Product Type | Select AI Resource (Subscription) or AI Resource (Pay-As-You-Go). |
Region | The region of the AI resource. You can only select a region where AI resources are available. Note You do not need to select a zone. Hologres automatically handles routing and allocation. |
Instance ID Associated with AI Resource | Select the instance to associate. Once associated, the AI resource is integrated into the instance configuration and used automatically when you call an AI function. |
AI Node Specifications | Select a GPU instance type as needed. |
AI Node | Specify the number of AI nodes to purchase. |
Subscription Duration | Select the subscription duration for the AI resource. Note This parameter is required only for AI Resource (Subscription). |
Billing
Hologres AI resources are GPU instances priced according to their specifications. Hologres offers two billing models: pay-as-you-go and subscription. For detailed pricing, see AI resources.
Subscription: You pay for resources in advance.
Pay-as-you-go: You are billed hourly for your AI resources, regardless of usage.
When you purchase an AI resource, a 200 GB system disk is automatically included at no additional cost.
