Global Accelerator:Monitoring and logging

Last Updated:Jun 20, 2026

Monitoring and logging are essential to maintain the availability, performance, and health of your Global Accelerator (GA) resources. Alibaba Cloud provides a suite of services, including CloudMonitor and Network Intelligence Service (NIS), to help you monitor your GA resources and applications in real time. These tools allow you to collect performance data, receive alerts on potential issues, and respond quickly to keep your services running smoothly.

Instance diagnosis

Global Accelerator (GA) integrates with Network Intelligence Service (NIS) to provide one-click, instance-level diagnosis. You can use this feature to check the configuration and operational status of an instance and receive intelligent remediation suggestions for any detected issues. The diagnosis covers configurations, capacity limits, certificates, security policies, billing, and service access. You can also view historical diagnosis details.

To learn how to diagnose a GA instance, see Instance diagnosis.

Health status monitoring

Monitor the health of your cloud resources to handle issues as they arise. For details, see Alibaba Cloud Resource Healthiness Updates.

On the Alibaba Cloud Resource Healthiness Updates page, you can check the real-time status of Alibaba Cloud services in each region and subscribe to RSS feeds for service events.

CloudMonitor

Global Accelerator (GA) integrates with Alibaba Cloud CloudMonitor at no additional cost, allowing you to monitor GA metrics in real time.

Real-time data query

You can monitor the operational status and usage of your GA resources.

Threshold-triggered alerts

You can create threshold-triggered alert rules for GA resource metrics. If a metric meets the alert condition, CloudMonitor automatically sends an alert notification, helping you quickly identify abnormal metrics and take action. To learn how to create a threshold-triggered alert rule, see Create a threshold-triggered alert rule.

Cloud Config

Cloud Config is a resource auditing service that lets you track configuration history and audit the compliance of your resources. It helps you govern your infrastructure at scale and maintain continuous compliance.

Global Accelerator (GA) integrates with Cloud Config and is available for a free trial. Because Cloud Config supports only specific Alibaba Cloud services, the resource inventory may include only a portion of your resources. For a list of GA resource types supported by Cloud Config, see Supported resource types and relationships in Cloud Config.

Cloud Config provides a cross-region, aggregated resource inventory. This helps you quickly find a resource and view its configuration details and change history. For more information about the resource management features of Cloud Config, see Overview of global resources.

You can deliver configuration changes and non-compliance events for your GA resources to a specified Logstore in Log Service. This allows you to query and analyze all your log data in one place. For more information, see Deliver data to Log Service.

ActionTrail

Global Accelerator (GA) integrates with ActionTrail for centralized management of operation logs. ActionTrail records user logins and resource access within your Alibaba Cloud account, enabling security analysis, intrusion detection, resource change tracking, and compliance auditing.

ActionTrail records actions performed through the Alibaba Cloud Management Console, OpenAPI, or developer tools. For a list of auditable GA events, see Auditable events for GA.

By default, ActionTrail records events from the last 90 days. To retain logs for a longer period, you must create a trail to deliver events to Log Service or Object Storage Service (OSS). For more information, see Create a trail.

After delivering events to Log Service or OSS, you can query and analyze them in the corresponding console. For more information, see Query events in the Log Service or OSS console.

If you need to analyze or download the 90-day trail history for auditing purposes, you can create a data backfill task to deliver the history to Log Service. For more information, see Create a data backfill task.

Log Service

Global Accelerator (GA) integrates with Alibaba Cloud Log Service. You can create access logs for one or more endpoint groups of a GA instance. The collected access logs are delivered to a Logstore in the same region as the endpoint group. An access log entry includes fields such as the client source IP, client source port, destination IP, destination port, and acceleration region.

To learn how to use access logs with GA and see usage examples, see Use access logs.
