Cross-border acceleration bandwidth plans are required when your Global Accelerator (GA) instance needs to accelerate traffic between the Chinese mainland and regions outside the Chinese mainland — including China (Hong Kong), China (Macao), and China (Taiwan). These plans must be used together with basic bandwidth plans and cannot be purchased or used independently.
Prerequisites
To use a cross-border acceleration bandwidth plan for cross-border acceleration, make sure that your account has completed enterprise real-name registration.
Before you begin, make sure that you have:
A subscription GA instance with the pay-by-bandwidth metering method
A basic bandwidth plan associated with the GA instance
Completed real-name registration for your Alibaba Cloud account (required for cross-border acceleration). For details, see FAQ about real-name verification.
Billing rules
Subscription billing requires upfront payment before use. The following table summarizes the billing rules for subscription cross-border acceleration bandwidth plans.
