    Express Connect:Manage Express Connect quotas

    You can manage Express Connect quotas by viewing their usage, requesting increases, and setting usage alerts. This topic describes how to increase quotas and create quota templates.

    Background information

    Quota Center is an Alibaba Cloud service for centrally managing the quotas of various Alibaba Cloud services, including Express Connect. If you use multiple cloud services and want to manage all their quotas in one place, use Quota Center.

    Alternatively, if you do not need to manage quotas for multiple cloud services centrally, you can manage Express Connect quotas directly on the Express Connect console.

    Permissions

    By default, only Alibaba Cloud accounts can manage quotas in Quota Center. To allow a RAM user to perform quota management operations, grant the RAM user the AliyunQuotasFullAccess permission.

    View quotas

    1. Log on to the Express Connect console.

    2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Quota Management.

    3. On the Quota Management page, select a quota type to view its details.

      • View general quotas

        1. In the Quota Category area, click the General Quotas tab.

        2. Filter the list by keyword to view the name, description, and usage of a specific general quota.

      • View API rate limits

        1. In the Quota Category area, click the API Rate Limits tab.

        2. Filter the list by keyword or region to view the version and quota value of a specific API rate limit.

      • View whitelist quotas

        1. In the Quota Type area, click the Whitelist Quota tab.

        2. Filter the list by keyword to view the name, description, and default value of a specific whitelist quota.

    Increase quotas

    • You can request to increase some quotas yourself. To request an increase, go to the Quota Management page, find the quota that you want to increase, and then click Apply in the Actions column. The technical support team for the cloud service reviews each request. To increase the chance of approval, provide a reasonable value and a detailed reason for your application. Approvals are typically granted within one minute.

    • If your organization uses Resource Directory to manage multiple accounts, you can use quota templates to submit requests in batches. For more information, see quota templates.

    • If a RAM user performs this operation, ensure they have the required AliyunQuotasFullAccess permission. For details, see System policies for Quota Center.
